Meet our founder
Mark is the founder & CEO of Fikes. Mark’s initial start in business began as a traveling “pound the pavement” relationship-building salesperson throughout various parts of North America. He later returned home to Washington and became a bootstrap entrepreneur in 2003 with humble beginnings initially working out of a tiny 10×10 storage unit. Only 7 years later with his company growth rate, he was featured in The New York Times!

Fikes History
Fikes started with very humble beginnings involving a little 10×10 storage unit, a single Chevy Astro van, zero outside funding and a tremendous amount of daily hustle! The journey involved a balance of both successes and failures, all with 100% perseverance and the knowledge that even if there are failures, it is a forever-forward philosophy. We still fail forward today, although we’re far-removed from that 10×10 storage unit as a very recognizable brand with multiple distribution centers throughout the western states.
